Eltayeb Dawalbeit was born in 1968 in Kosti, Sudan.

He studied at the College of Fine & Applied Arts of the University of Sudan in Khartoum from 1989 to 1995.

Eltayeb has been living in Nairobi since 1997, where he works as a freelance artist and a textile designer.

Eltayeb’s work has been exhibited in USA/New York, South Africa/Capetown, Italy/Rome, Uganda, Spain. Eltayeb completed a large commission for PwC Towers in Nairobi.

He has exhibited at Toronto Art Fair and Monaco Art Fair.
